Masturbation is perhaps one of the most
 debated—and least resolved—sexual subjects in the church.
 The views and opinions about masturbation, its effects, 
and consequences (especially spiritual) 
have been swirling through the church 
probably since it first began.

VOTE OF MAYBE = 5%

Is masturbation a sin? - that is the question. The
answer  can be determined by first defining what sex
really is.  

If I have an aquaintance that I invite to visit me at
my abode, and the person accepts my invitation, this
is regarded as a friendly visit.  If while asleep at
night, an unknown breaks into my abode and carts away
as many valuables as they can lay their hands on, this
person is for all intents and purposes a thief who has
commited a crime which under the laws of christianity
will be regarded as a sin.

In the wild wild world of personal relationships, sex
plays a major role in the cementing of ties between
two people.  It does not matter however whether sex
between two people happens as a result of mutual
consent or because of the surge of testoterone in one
of the parties, the activity is always an invasion of
privacy of one party by the other. 

By analogy, a rapist is a thief, while a friend is
viewed as a lover.  It does not matter how hard we try
to sugar coat sexuality, it is in the long run the
abuse of one body by another either by consent or
otherwise.

So what is masturbation then?  It is nothing other
than a safe exit for the sexually repressed
individual.  Like most things in life it becomes a sin
when the individual becomes addicted to it, just like
overindulgence in sexual activity involving two
parties can be viewed as a sin when the participants
allow it to rule their lives. 

By the way, I think Nigerians should stop hiding
behind the Bible in order to determine what is good or
bad for them.  Those who brought us the Bible several
decades ago rarely take its contents very seriously. 
We do not want to remain the outsiders who cried more
than the bereaved.

I have pride(not in a arrogant way) i can only go to a certain extent to be polite to sum-1, I will say "yes sir" "thank you boss" only when he or she desrves it, of course i will be respectful too, like the way i was brought up 2 be. but ass-kissing is too much, grovelling is a no-no 4 me, look at many many years ago, didn't our people grovel at the feet of our oppressors ? even when, we were oppressed or trated wrongly buy our won people, we stil had 2 grovel to them. this is the 21st century so..me i no go be 4 anything that isn't worth begging 4. God will provide in th end.
after all is my boss higher than the the Lord??

If others want to suck up to their boss thats thier issue, their only lying to themselves, and as for the boss..well reiceving FAKE admoration and FAKE respect from his/her employees, well they too are living a lie,
i will only accept the praises for who i am, and not my status.
